MEDIUS

ABOUT US

Digital eye care built by an ophthalmologist

MEDIUS fills the gap of 'logging your eyes every day, before the clinic.' We connect clinical practice, AI, and data self-sufficiently inside one company.

MISSION

The problem we solve

In the digital era, the eyes are the most overworked organ — yet there has been no standardized way to record one's eye condition before visiting an ophthalmologist. Mobile eye-photo apps lack reproducibility due to lighting and distance variance, and consumer eye-exercise devices cannot objectively measure whether the exercise was performed. MEDIUS fills the gap of recording your eyes every day, under the same conditions.

  • Non-diagnostic self-logging under standardized conditions
  • Assisted early recognition of change and abnormal signals
  • Improved access to eye examination

FOUNDER

Daehwan Shin — CEO · Research Lead

Ophthalmologist

Drawing on clinical practice and image reading, he leads ICatcher planning and development. Having an ophthalmologist perform data labeling and content validation directly is the core competitive edge of MEDIUS.
